Central Drum
Temperature controlled, servo driven, anti-corrosion plated central impression cylinder with a diameter of Ø2000mm.
The impression cylinder design comprises a double-wall.construction to ensure consistent temperature of water flow over the whole CI surface.
The temperature control of the central impression cylinder guarantees a constant cylinder temperature and constant.cylinder dimensions. The temperature-controlled circuit is a closed-loop system and comprises a heating and cooling unit to maintain a constant liquid temperature of 30°C +/- 1°C.
TIR (Total Indicated Run out) of the impression cylinder +/- 0.005 mm (+/- 0.0002").
Drive device: The torque motor is used to directly drive the center drum omitting the traditional transmission components, achieving a color registration accuracy of ±0.1mm and reducing maintenance costs by 30%.
